Job summary

Aibel is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to strengthen the Process department in Bergen. You will develop process designs across diverse projects in the energy sector, lead discipline work, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals.

With 10+ years in oil and gas, you will contribute to onshore/offshore projects, FEED/EPCIC studies, and use HYSYS/UNISIM/Flarenet for simulations. Strong Norwegian communication is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in onshore/offshore oil and gas
• Degree in chemistry or process-related engineering
• Experience with EPCIC, FEED, and early study projects on the NCS
• Experience with process simulation tools like HYSYS, UNISIM, or Flarenet
• Good written and spoken Norwegian communication skills
• Be systematic and accurate; able to lead discipline work
• Enjoy collaborating in expert groups with multidisciplinary understanding
• High loyalty to deadlines and quality requirements
