Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical incidents and customer inquiries through our Remedy case management system.
• Provide on-site support for customers across Norway, onshore and offshore.
• Troubleshoot and restore complex control systems in critical operational environments.
• Perform proactive system health checks to improve reliability and customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to projects ranging from minor system modifications to larger implementation and upgrade activities.
• Collaborate with engineers in Bergen and Hammerfest while working closely with customers and project teams.

Who We’re Looking For

You are a technically strong and customer‑focused engineer who thrives on problem‑solving and enjoys working independently in dynamic environments.

We believe you bring:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

At least 5 years of relevant professional experience

Solid experience with ABB 800xA and/or Advant/Safeguard systems

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and fault‑finding capabilities

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Willingness to travel approximately 20-50% as part of the role

Professional proficiency in English

It is an advantage if you also have:

Offshore experience or willingness to obtain offshore certification

Knowledge of industrial networking and communication systems
