Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering; Master's preferred.
• 5-7 years in process engineering within manufacturing, automated/high-volume settings.
• Experience in process design, optimization and implementation.
• Strong automation, robotics, and control systems knowledge.
• Familiar with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and validation of new manufacturing processes with a focus on automation and efficiency.
• Analyze existing production processes to identify improvements, boost throughput, reduce waste and costs.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and control plans.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, quality control, and maintenance for seamless integration and troubleshooting.
• Oversee commissioning and qualification of new equipment and lines.
• Implement SPC methods and monitor process performance metrics.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and production staff.
• Ensure all processes comply with standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
• Troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Proven track record in process design, optimization, and implementation.
• Strong understanding of automation technologies, robotics, and control systems.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Project management experience is advantageous.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
