Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive process engineering experience in chemical manufacturing.
• Experience with process design software and data analysis tools.
• Understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and reaction kinetics.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) registration is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement process improvements to enhance yield, reduce waste, and lower production costs.
• Conduct process simulations and modeling to predict and optimize performance parameters.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex operational issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including P&IDs, operating procedures, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with R&D to scale up new processes from laboratory to commercial production.
• Ensure all processes comply with relevant safety, health, and environmental (SHE) regulations.
