Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Organic Chemistry, Process Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in process chemistry or chemical development within the pharmaceutical or fine chemical industry.
• Strong understanding of organic reaction mechanisms, kinetics, and thermodynamics.
• Experience with process optimization techniques, DoE (Design of Experiments), and PAT (Process Analytical Technology).
• Familiarity with GMP requirements and regulatory considerations for process development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize synthetic routes for target molecules, focusing on scalability, safety, and economic viability.
• Conduct process hazard assessments and implement appropriate safety measures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during process scale-up and manufacturing.
• Design and execute experiments to identify critical process parameters and establish control strategies.
• Characterize intermediates and final products using a range of analytical techniques.
• Collaborate with analytical and engineering teams to ensure smooth technology transfer and process validation.
