Job summary

Apex Group, a leading fund administration and middle-office solutions provider, seeks an experienced PE Operations professional in Johannesburg. You will manage onboarding for complex PE clients, coordinate NAVs and SLA deliverables, and lead the PE Operations team to ensure regulatory compliance and timely reporting.

You will oversee policies, KPIs and stakeholder relations, while guiding client service and reporting teams through multi-jurisdictional requirements.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification - CA(SA) / SAIPA / Equivalent.
• Ideally 5+ years' experience in a similar relevant capacity in the fund admin industry.
• An understanding of regulatory and financial reporting regime and IFRS.
• Ability to motivate and influence a team, high level of managerial skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide services to a complex book of Private Equity clients; onboard new clients, investors and investments.
• Act as central contact for Private Equity Operations for allocated client base; ensure policies are followed.
• Manage KPIs, relationships, and cross-functional collaboration; cover for other managers.
• Support NAVs and SLA deliverables; ensure quality control before approvals.
• Develop entity procedures for reporting; liaise with lawyers, general partners, auditors and tax advisors.
