Job summary

Apex Group is seeking an Assistant Manager in Johannesburg within the Alternative Asset Services Division. The role oversees portfolio accounting, client administration, and mentoring junior staff, while collaborating with the lead relationship manager and Director to deliver high-quality service.

You will supervise and develop junior team members, coordinate NAVs, and ensure reporting complies with GAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage a client portfolio and oversee accounting aspects.

• Develop entity-specific procedures for administration and reporting.
• Coordinate audits with auditors and support audit processes.
• Ensure reporting complies with GAAP/IFRS and local laws.
• Ensure client responsibilities are managed effectively.
