The role focuses on virtualization with Proxmox and container orchestration via Kubernetes, plus open-source tooling for automation, IaC, and secrets management. You'll implement OpenTofu modules, integrate with GitLab CI/CD, and ensure secure, scalable environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, including virtualization and containerization.
• Proven track record designing and managing private cloud infra with Proxmox and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on with OpenTofu (or Terraform) for IaC and GitLab CI/CD for automation.
• Experience with OpenBao for secrets management in production.
• Strong knowledge of network components and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage private cloud infra to support mission-critical apps.
• Develop and maintain IaC using OpenTofu integrated with GitLab CI/CD.
• Deploy and optimize Proxmox VMs and Kubernetes clusters for high availability.
• Configure secrets management with OpenBao and secure access controls.
• Set up monitoring/logging with Prometheus and Grafana and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with development, security, and DevOps teams and document configurations.
