Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior AI/ML Engineer to lead predictive modeling initiatives. You will design, implement, and deploy robust models, collaborating with data scientists and business stakeholders to drive data-informed decisions.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field, 5+ years in ML/data science, and strong Python expertise with scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience in ML engineering or data science with a focus on predictive modeling.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML libraries.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with large-scale databases.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Spark is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and deploy predictive models using ML and statistical techniques.
• Data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model selection for performance.
• Evaluate model accuracy and iterate to improve models.
• Collaborate with data scientists and domain experts to define modeling objectives.
• Work with large datasets ensuring data quality for model training.
• Design and run A/B tests and other experiments to validate impact.
• Optimize model performance for production scalability and efficiency.
• Stay updated with AI/ML advancements and communicate insights clearly.
