Placements24 is seeking an exceptional Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join a fully remote team focused on predictive modeling. You will design, develop, and deploy advanced ML systems for forecasting, risk assessment, and personalization, handling large datasets with modern ML libraries.

The role offers mentorship of junior engineers, collaboration with product and data science teams, and a culture of innovation.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in CS, statistics, mathematics, or related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering focusing on predictive models.
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
• Strong knowledge of statistical modeling, time series analysis, and ML algorithms.
• Experience with big data (Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong software engineering skills incl. Git and CI/CD.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication; proven remote collaboration.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fully remote, collaborative team setting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced ML models for predictive tasks.
• Engineer robust data pipelines for model training, validation, and deployment.
• Collaborate with data scientists and product managers to define modeling requirements.
• Optimize model performance for accuracy, scalability, and efficiency.
• Implement and manage MLOps practices for monitoring, retraining, and versioning.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and insights for model development.
• Stay abreast of latest research and techniques in machine learning and predictive analytics.
• Mentor junior machine learning engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
