Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Computational Scientist to join a fully remote research team. You will design and deploy AI/ML models, perform data analysis and feature engineering, and collaborate with domain experts and data engineers to translate hypotheses into actionable insights.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. or MSc in a quantitative field, 5+ years of AI/ML experience, and strong Python skills with TensorFlow/PyTorch/scikit-learn.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in a quantitative field (CS/Data Science/Statistics/Physics).
• Minimum 5 years applying AI/ML techniques to real-world problems.
• Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures, and statistical modeling.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy sophisticated AI/ML models for scientific and business applications.
• Conduct extensive data analysis, feature engineering, and model training using large datasets.
