Placements24 is seeking a seasoned PR and Communications Manager to shape and execute our client’s communication strategy in Soweto. The role focuses on elevating brand visibility, media relationships, and stakeholder engagement across communities in Gauteng.

You will lead content creation for press releases, social media, and internal communications, while monitoring trends and advising on strategic messaging to protect and enhance the company’s public image.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in public relations, corporate communications, or media relations.
• Proven success in managing media campaigns and building media relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong understanding of the South African media landscape and channels.
• Experience creating content for multiple platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with PR software and social media tools.
