Senior Power Platform Developer

Job Summary

Senior power platform developer with deep functional and technical expertise in Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse solutions for enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Understand and demonstrate the out‑of‑the‑box capabilities and limitations of Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform.
• Gather requirements, document business processes, and drive re‑engineering initiatives.
• Build prototypes and proof‑of‑concepts to articulate solution designs.
• Implement business and technical environment changes safely, in partnership with Solution Architects and the Project Office.
• Engage in pre‑sales activities, including technology evangelism, demonstrations, and bid‑response writing.
• Create clear and effective documentation across multiple channels.
• Ensure project timescales are met through proactive planning and task delegation.
• Train end users and administrators on Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform.
• Set up and configure environments and manage Application Lifecycle Management.
• Coach, mentor, and support junior team members, maintaining a culture of wellbeing and inclusion.
• Prioritise tasks and allocate resources effectively to meet project objectives.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across disciplines and manage dependencies.
• Perform other tasks as reasonably requested.

Required Skills

• Expertise in developing Canvas Apps with a strong focus on responsive design, accessibility, performance optimisation, and user experience.
• Experience building modern Power Apps experiences, including canvas apps, model‑driven apps, custom pages, and reusable components.
• Active SC Clearance or eligibility for Security Clearance.
• Familiarity with Power Apps Component Framework (PCFs) is desirable.
• Knowledge of Power Automate.
• Strong Dataverse experience, covering table design, relationships, security, business units, and solution‑aware configuration.
• Experience scaling Power Automate solutions for enterprise‑level needs.
• Proficiency with Dataverse SDK, Web API, FetchXML, OData, QueryExpression, and service protection limits.
• Experience building secure Power Pages solutions, including site configuration and Liquid templates.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate requirements into solution design concepts.
• Team‑player mindset, acting as the conduit between customers, business analysts, solution architects, developers, and QA.
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCP, MCSE) are a plus.

Desirable Technical Skills

• Development of Dataverse plug‑ins, custom workflow activities, and Custom APIs using C#, including transaction handling and performance considerations.
• Building, debugging, and deploying Power Apps Component Framework controls using TypeScript, React, and modern front‑end engineering practices.
• Understanding of responsible AI, prompt design, and security boundaries for AI‑enabled Power Platform solutions.
• Designing and building Copilot Studio agents with Power Automate integration and Dataverse‑backed processes.
