Job summary

BrightOrange Staffing B.V. is expanding its internal technology team and seeks a capable Power Platform Developer to help deliver and maintain our Microsoft environment.

The role focuses on building low-code solutions, including Power Apps and Power Automate flows, using Dataverse, SharePoint and Microsoft 365 data. The successful candidate will contribute ideas to simplify processes, test and document solutions, and collaborate with colleagues and users to capture requirements and improvements.

Qualifications

• Must have strong interest in IT, automation and low-code development.
• Knowledge of Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Dataverse) is required.
• Willingness to learn continuously in a field that is constantly evolving.
• Ability to work and learn independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Experience with JSON, expressions, or API concepts is desirable.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are expanding our internal technology team and are looking for a capable Power Platform Developer to help deliver and maintain our Microsoft environment.

Your role on the team

Microsoft’s Power Platform enables companies to improve their business processes. This includes automating processes, with or without AI. As a Power Platform Developer, you’ll help build and maintain low-code solutions, such as apps and automations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing Power Apps (Canvas apps) for departments within the company;
• Building and improving Power Automate flows for process automation;
• Working with data from Dataverse, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365;
• Contributing ideas on how to make processes smarter, simpler, and more efficient;
• Testing, improving, and documenting solutions; and
• Consulting with colleagues and/or users about requirements and improvements.

Must-haves

• Interest in IT, automation, and low-code development;
• Logical thinking and an eye for detail;
• Willingness to learn and develop yourself. The field is constantly evolving, so continuing education is a must;
• Ability to work and learn independently;
• Knowledge and relevant experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Dataverse, or Power BI);
• Affinity for processes, data, or business operations - preferably at an accounting/tax/audit firm;
• Knowledge of JSON, expressions, or API concepts;
• Completed degree in IT, Business IT, Data, Finance, or a related field.
