Job summary

Edward Snell & Co Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to lead growth for a premium spirits portfolio in South Africa. You will define brand strategies, drive market share and profitability, and oversee integrated campaigns across channels.

You will partner with Sales, Key Accounts, and agencies while managing budgets and extracting insights from market trends to identify opportunities for premium consumer engagement and trade activations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years' marketing experience within Liquor, FMCG, or luxury consumer brands related industries.
• Proven experience managing and growing premium or luxury brands.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability.
• Experience leading integrated marketing campaigns and agency partners.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Passion for luxury brands, premium experiences, and consumer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop and execute annual brand portfolio strategies.
• Drive brand growth, market share, and profitability across the portfolio.
• Lead integrated marketing campaigns across ATL, BTL and trade channels.
• Deliver premium consumer experiences and trade activations.
• Partner closely with Sales, Key Accounts, agencies, and global brand stakeholders.
• Manage marketing budgets and maximise return on investment.
• Monitor market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
