Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years in project management with 6+ years in leadership within financial services.
• Proven experience managing large-scale IT projects including core banking systems and digital platforms.
• Deep knowledge of financial regulations (POPIA, FICA) and their IT implications.
• Expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies with flexible project approaches.
• Outstanding leadership, team development, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and cybersecurity understanding.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, including executive presentations.
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or CSM are highly preferred.
• Previous experience in Cape Town and familiarity with the local market.
