Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Senior Project Manager for high-end residential and commercial fit-outs in Sandton, Gauteng. You will lead end-to-end delivery, managing complex projects with premium finishes, strict schedules, and demanding clients.

You will drive planning, budgeting, and procurement while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams. This role demands exceptional leadership, communication, and risk management skills in a fast-paced luxury building environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction or related field required.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive project management experience in luxury fit-outs.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of planning, execution, and successful completion of high-end residential and commercial fit-out projects.
• Develop detailed project plans with scope, budgets, resources and timelines.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Ensure health and safety standards and building regulations are followed.
• Monitor progress, mitigate risks and delays, and maintain premium finishes.
• Oversee project finances including budgeting, cost forecasting, and payments.
• Foster strong client, designer, and stakeholder relationships throughout delivery.
• Manage procurement of materials and services focusing on quality and value.
• Present comprehensive reports to senior management and clients.
