TFG in South Africa seeks a Planner III to optimize planning processes, project future sales and manage range assortments and replenishment. The role involves implementing distribution strategies, guiding team members, and reporting performance to management on a regular cadence.

You will develop category strategies, manage store-level assortments with buyers, and drive OTB planning while analyzing weekly sales with the buying team and presenting outcomes in trade meetings.

Formación

• Diploma, graduate or postgraduate qualification matched to retail planning.
• Sound understanding of the retail cycle and planning process.
• Numerate with analytical and strategic thinking.

Responsabilidades

• Manage range assortments and replenishment, ensuring availability of key lines.
• Drive product efficiencies and measures including sales, markdown, inventory and sales margin.
• Develop category strategic, tactical, and operational plans to meet targets.
• Develop and manage range assortment at store level with the buyer.
• Manage OTB allowance in-season and forward budgets.
• Attend product launches and selections throughout the year.
• Analyze previous week sales with the buying team and propose actions.
• Prepare and present performance in trade meetings.
• Report on performance and plans to management (weekly, monthly, seasonally, annually).
• Collaborate across buying, planning, marketing, VM and operations.
• Influence change to achieve company goals.
• Drive allocation and grading strategy with allocator.
• Develop markdown proposals and drive corrective actions.
• Conduct regular store visits.
