About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Pharmaceutical Biostatistician to join their growing team in a fully remote capacity. This pivotal role involves designing statistical analysis plans for clinical trials, performing complex statistical analyses, and interpreting results to support drug development and regulatory submissions. You will collaborate closely with clinical operations, data management, and regulatory affairs teams to ensure the statistical integrity of research data. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from home while contributing to critical pharmaceutical research.

Key Responsibilities

• Design clinical trial protocols, sample size calculations, and statistical analysis plans (SAPs).
• Perform statistical analyses using SAS, R, or other statistical software packages.
• Interpret analysis results and prepare statistical reports for clinical study reports, regulatory submissions, and publications.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to define study endpoints and data collection requirements.
• Ensure statistical methods and analyses comply with regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, EMA, ICH).
• Mentor junior biostatisticians and contribute to the development of statistical methodologies.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a biostatistician in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as SAS and/or R.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial design and regulatory requirements for statistical analysis.
