Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Biostatistician to join its clinical development team, supporting trials across therapeutic areas. This hybrid role requires the ability to work both independently from a remote location and collaborate on-site with the research team.

You will design trials, analyze data, and interpret results to support regulatory submissions and publications, with strong emphasis on SAS/R analyses and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Biostatistician in pharma/biotech, focusing on clinical trials.
• Proficiency in SAS and/or R.
• Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH).

Responsibilities

About the Role

You will be responsible for the statistical design of clinical trials, analysis of trial data, and interpretation of results to support regulatory submissions and publications. The ideal candidate possesses a strong statistical background, proficiency in statistical software, and a deep understanding of clinical trial methodologies. Key Responsibilities

• Provide statistical input for the design of clinical trials, including sample size calculations and protocol development.
• Develop Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) detailing methods for data analysis.
• Perform statistical analyses of clinical trial data using SAS or R.
• Interpret statistical results and collaborate with medical writers to prepare study reports and publications.
• Ensure statistical integrity and accuracy throughout the clinical trial lifecycle.
• Contribute to data monitoring committee (DMC) meetings and regulatory submissions.

Requirements
