Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Biostatistician to join their data science and research team, operating remotely with key touchpoints in Paarl. You will design SAPs, analyze clinical trial data, and interpret results to support drug development and regulatory submissions.

You will collaborate with clinical scientists, data managers, and other stakeholders to ensure study integrity, provide statistical input for protocols and CRFs, and ensure adherence to guidelines and industry best

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of biostatistics experience in pharma/biotech.
• Proficiency in SAS and/or R.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial design and statistical methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and ability to communicate complex statistical concepts clearly.

• Design statistical analysis plans (SAPs) for clinical trials and observational studies.
• Perform statistical analysis of clinical trial data using SAS, R, or similar statistical software.
