About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and skilled Biostatistician to join their expanding data science team in East London . You will be responsible for designing statistical analysis plans, performing complex statistical analyses on clinical trial data, and interpreting results to support drug development decisions. This critical role requires a strong theoretical foundation in statistics and practical experience applying these principles within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop statistical analysis plans (SAPs) for clinical trials and research studies.
• Perform statistical programming and analysis using specialized software (e.g., SAS, R, Python).
• Interpret statistical results and provide clear, concise summaries and visualizations.
• Collaborate with clinical operations, data management, and medical affairs teams.
• Ensure adherence to statistical best practices and regulatory guidelines.
• Contribute to the design of clinical trials, including sample size calculations and randomization schemes.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Biostatistics , preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Proficiency in statistical software such as SAS, R, or Python.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial design and statistical methodologies.
• Experience with regulatory submissions and interactions with health authorities.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
