Placements24 is seeking a Senior Pharmaceutical Analytical Development Scientist for a fully remote role. Lead development, validation, and implementation of analytical methods for drug substances and products, supporting from early development through commercialization.

You will work with global teams, applying HPLC/UPLC/GC, MS, and spectroscopy expertise. The role requires strong communication, project management, and the ability to drive projects independently from a home office.

Qualifications

• PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or closely related field.
• Minimum of 7 years hands-on experience in analytical method development and validation.
• Expertise in HPLC/UPLC/GC and mass spectrometry (LC-MS, GC-MS).
• Proficiency in UV-Vis, FT-IR, and NMR spectroscopy.

Responsabilités

• Develop and validate analytical methods for identification, quantification, and impurity profiling of drug substances and products using HPLC/UPLC/GC, MS, and spectroscopy.
• Characterize physical and chemical properties of drug molecules and formulated products.
• Perform method transfer to Quality Control units and external partners.
• Troubleshoot analytical methods and instrumentation; resolve issues promptly.
• Execute stability studies and analyze data to determine shelf-life and storage conditions.
• Prepare method development reports, validation protocols, and validation reports.
• Contribute to regulatory submissions with analytical data and documentation.
• Collaborate with formulation development, process development, and regulatory affairs teams.
• Mentor junior scientists and advance the analytical development department.
