The role requires 8–10 years in petroleum exploration or development geoscience, with expertise in Petrel, Kingdom Suite, and IHS Markit.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Geology, Geophysics, or a related geoscience discipline.
• 8-10 years of progressive experience in petroleum exploration or development geoscience.
• Proficiency in geological and geophysical interpretation software (e.g., Petrel, Kingdom Suite, IHS Markit).
• Strong understanding of seismic data acquisition, processing, and interpretation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed geological and geophysical analysis of seismic, well log, and core data to identify prospective hydrocarbon plays.
• Develop and refine geological models for exploration and field development projects.
• Integrate multidisciplinary data sets to build robust subsurface interpretations and assess reservoir potential.
• Utilize advanced software and techniques for data processing, visualization, and interpretation.
• Collaborate with reservoir engineers, geophysicists, and other geoscientists to optimize exploration strategies and field development plans.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for management and joint venture partners.
• Mentor junior geoscientists and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Evaluate geological risks and uncertainties associated with exploration and development opportunities.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in petroleum geoscience.
