Job summary

Network Finance is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll for monthly and weekly cycles. You will administer Sage 300 People, ESS, and handle onboarding, terminations, salary changes, benefits, and leave transactions.

You’ll ensure compliance with PAYE, UIF, SDL, EMP201, and EMP501 and perform reconciliations and reporting. Ideal candidates bring at least 6 years of high-volume payroll experience, 5+ years with Sage 300 People and ESS, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is mandatory.
• Payroll Certification or National Diploma in Payroll Administration required.
• Minimum 6 years of payroll experience in a high-volume environment.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with Sage 300 People and ESS.
• Proven experience with EMP501 reconciliations, e@syFile, and statutory submissions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, reporting).

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for monthly and weekly payrolls.
• Administer and maintain Sage 300 People and ESS.
• Process employee onboarding, terminations, salary changes, benefits, and leave transactions.
• Prepare and submit payroll-related statutory requirements, including PAYE, UIF, SDL, EMP201, and EMP501.
• Perform payroll reconciliations, audits, and reporting.
• Manage employee benefits, including medical aid and provident fund administration.
• Support employees and stakeholders with payroll-related queries.
