Job summary

Network Finance is seeking a Senior Payments Officer to join its Finance team in Centurion. You’ll manage corporate payments, verify beneficiary details and ensure timely, secure processing of domestic and international payments.

Reporting to the Finance Executive, you’ll maintain payment records, review packs, monitor bank balances and enforce strong internal controls for high-value transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Finance.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate payments.
• Foreign payment experience.
• Sage ERP or similar accounting system experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and securely manage corporate beneficiary profiles across online banking platforms.
• Verify banking details against authorised records to prevent errors and payment fraud.
• Process domestic EFTs, inter-account transfers and international Forex payments.
• Review and audit payment packs for accuracy, authorisation and supporting documentation.
• Investigate and resolve payment, invoice and documentation discrepancies.
• Monitor daily bank balances and report cash positions.
• Ensure operational accounts are adequately funded for scheduled payments.
• Monitor and process scheduled loan repayments.

Reporting to the Finance Executive, you’ll play a critical role in managing corporate payments, maintaining beneficiary information and ensuring that all domestic and international transactions are processed accurately, securely and within strict banking deadlines.
