Job summary

Network Recruitment in Centurion is seeking a Senior Payments Officer to join the Finance team. You will manage corporate payments, maintain beneficiary information and ensure timely processing of transactions within banking deadlines.

The role requires a finance background, attention to detail and the ability to work securely across domestic and international payments. You will collaborate with stakeholders to uphold accuracy and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Formal finance qualification (Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma).
• Minimum 5 years experience in corporate payments.
• Experience with foreign payments and Sage ERP or similar system.

Responsibilities

• Maintain corporate beneficiary profiles across online banking platforms.
• Verify banking details against records to prevent errors and fraud.
• Process domestic EFTs, inter-account transfers and Forex payments.
• Review payment packs for accuracy, authorisation and documentation.
• Investigate and resolve payment, invoice and documentation discrepancies.
• Monitor daily bank balances and cash positions.
• Ensure funds are available for scheduled payments.
• Monitor and process scheduled loan repayments.
• Maintain strong payment workflow and internal controls.

An established and fast-paced organisation is looking for a Senior Payments Officer to join its Finance team in Centurion. Reporting to the Finance Executive, youll play a critical role in managing corporate payments, maintaining beneficiary information and ensuring that all domestic and international transactions are processed accurately, securely and within strict banking deadlines.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintain and securely manage corporate beneficiary profiles across online banking platforms Verify banking details against authorised records to prevent errors and payment fraud Process domestic EFTs, inter-account transfers and international Forex payments Review and audit payment packs for accuracy, authorisation and supporting documentation Investigate and resolve payment, invoice and documentation discrepancies Monitor daily bank balances and report cash positions Ensure operational accounts are adequately funded for scheduled payments Monitor and process scheduled loan repayments Maintain and enforce strong payment workflow and internal controls

Qualifications & Skills:
