Job summary

The Recruitment Guy is seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager to take responsibility for the overall operational, financial, technical and people-management functions of the business. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams in a heavy-industry environment, ensuring robust operational controls, safety compliance, and efficient delivery of services.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 years of senior management experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing or related sectors,

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' senior management experience.
• Proven experience managing a medium-sized workforce and multiple operational functions.
• Demonstrable financial and commercial management experience.
• Experience with budgets, costing, profitability and financial controls.
• Experience managing workshop / technical operations.
• Sound understanding of Occupational Health & Safety requirements.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Experience within heavy industry, manufacturing, mining, engineering or related industrial sectors will be advantageous.
• Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
• Previous ISO / quality audit experience advantageous.

Education

Relevant Electrical, Mechanical, Technical, Engineering, Trade or Business Management qualification
