Job summary

Energy Drive is seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to lead the workshop and field site activities for the eHouse product line. You will oversee frame construction, panel assembly, and the integration of electrical and mechanical systems, driving on-time, on-budget delivery.

Responsibilities include directing multi-disciplinary teams, coordinating with project managers, managing procurement interfaces, and enforcing strict safety and quality standards across workshop and site operations in

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Post-graduate qualification in Business Administration, Leadership, or Project Management.
• Knowledge of electrical panel construction, LV/MV drives, PLC/IoT and Switchgear configurations.
• Familiarity with regional building standards and electrical construction safety regulations.
• Willingness and legal eligibility to work in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Direct workshop manufacturing operations and project management for the eHouse product line.
• Oversee frame construction, shell erection, and transport preparation in the workshop.
• Coordinate and supervise panel assembly, wiring, and AFC workpacks.
• Lead and supervise third-party subcontractors (rigging, HVAC, fire protection).
• Manage field deployment, site integration, and milestone tracking with PMs.
• Uphold safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across workshop and site operations.
