Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are met.
• Implement and enforce strict quality control measures throughout the production process.
• Ensure a safe working environment for all employees, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Lead and mentor a team of production staff, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.

• Collaborate with other departments, including maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Proven experience in managing production processes and teams within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, quality management systems (e.g., ISO), and safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in production planning and control systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to East London, Eastern Cape .
