Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• At least 10 years in mining ops with 5+ in supervision/management.
• Open-pit mining experience including drill/blast, loading, hauling; strong safety/regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily mining operations including drill and blast, loading, hauling, and pit maintenance.
• Ensure production targets met safely and within budget.
• Develop and implement operating plans to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead and develop a team of mine supervisors, operators, and maintenance staff.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies; conduct safety inspections.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance for availability.
• Collaborate with planning, geology, and engineering to execute mining plans.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence; manage budgets.
