About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Online Educator to lead curriculum development and delivery for their digital learning initiatives, based in the Stellenbosch region but operating remotely. This is a fully remote position where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the online learning experience for students. You will be responsible for designing engaging course content, facilitating virtual classrooms, mentoring junior educators, and ensuring the highest standards of academic quality and student engagement. This role is ideal for a seasoned educator who is passionate about leveraging technology to create impactful and accessible learning environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality online courses aligned with curriculum standards and learning outcomes.
• Facilitate engaging virtual classroom sessions, foster student participation, and provide timely feedback.
• Mentor and provide guidance to other online educators, sharing best practices in virtual pedagogy.
• Develop and manage assessment strategies to evaluate student learning and course effectiveness.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Education, a relevant academic field, or Educational Technology.

• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and effective virtual teaching methodologies.
