Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Structural Analysis Engineer to join our engineering team. You will perform advanced FEA modeling and validate designs for safety and performance across diverse projects.

You will collaborate with remote design engineers, refine finite element models, analyze results, and generate technical reports. A strong background in CAD, ANSYS/Abaqus/NASTRAN, and at least five years in structural analysis are required.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in mechanical/civil engineering with a focus on structural analysis.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in structural analysis and FEA.
• Proficiency with industry-leading FEA software: ANSYS, Abaqus, NASTRAN.
• Strong understanding of mechanics of materials and failure theories.
• Experience with CAD for model preparation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced structural and mechanical analysis using FEA to evaluate performance.
• Develop and refine finite element models from CAD geometry and materials properties.
• Analyze results to identify failure modes and optimize strength-to-weight.
• Generate technical reports detailing methodologies, results, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with remote design engineers to guide design iterations.
