Job summary

NTT DATA in South Africa seeks a Senior Associate Networking Technical Services (TS) Systems Integration Specialist to ensure client solutions meet SLAs. You will perform configurations, installations and respond to break/fix events while developing toward professional certifications.

Hybrid working with a focus on fibre and wireless deployments, site surveys, vendor coordination and strict H&S compliance. The role emphasizes project administration, progress reporting, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in telecommunications.
• Experience managing end-to-end fibre, microwave, and wireless projects.
• Experience coordinating third-party vendors, contractors, and field technicians.
• Strong understanding of fibre infrastructure deployment, including site surveys, trenching, splicing, testing, and activation.
• Experience with wireless installations (PTP and PTMP).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage end-to-end fibre and wireless installation projects from order handover to service activation.
• Conduct site surveys and assess technical requirements, installation feasibility and risks.
• Liaise with customers, vendors, contractors and internal stakeholders for project delivery.
• Schedule and oversee installation activities ensuring timelines and SLAs.
• Track vendor performance and escalation of delays or quality issues.
• Ensure H&S requirements and permits are in place before installations.
• Perform quality assurance and validate installations against specs.
• Manage project documentation and handover records.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges with technical teams and vendors.
• Conduct CAT and facilitate service commissioning and activation.
• Provide status updates, issue logs and escalation reports to management.
