Acuity Consultants in Cape Town is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, build and operate features across a global SaaS platform. You will work with C#/.NET, ASP.NET Core and Azure, taking ownership from architecture to production and shaping the platform's scalability and reliability.

This hybrid role (3 days remote/2 in-office) involves mentoring teammates, leading technical initiatives and ensuring performance across distributed, multi-tenant services.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong C# / .NET, ASP.NET Core and REST API development.
• Strong SQL and/or NoSQL experience.
• Experience designing or operating modular monolith and/or microservices architectures.
• Experience with distributed and event-driven systems.
• Strong cloud experience, preferably Azure.
• Hands-on Docker, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code experience, ideally Bicep.
• Understanding of multi-tenant SaaS/PaaS architecture, scalability and high availability.
• Exposure to patterns such as DDD, event sourcing, idempotency, retries and eventual consistency.
• Proven ownership of systems from architecture and design through to production.
• Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning and production support experience.
• Experience leading technical initiatives, influencing architecture and mentoring developers.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools is advantageous.
