Acuity Consultants is actively recruiting a Senior Software Engineer for a 100% remote role from South Africa. You will design, develop, and scale enterprise financial systems using C#/.NET, Azure, and Kubernetes, collaborating with analysts and architects across borders.

You will own CI/CD pipelines, ensure code quality, and optimize performance in high-frequency trading environments. The position offers an international package and strong career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7–10+ years of professional software engineering experience with deep C#/.NET development.
• Hands-on Azure cloud-native solutions and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Experience in trading platforms, OMS/EMS, market data APIs, or settlements.
• Strong distributed systems knowledge and performance tuning for high-frequency environments.
• Excellent communication for remote cross-functional collaboration.
• Eligible to work remotely in South Africa

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable enterprise software and microservices using C# and .NET core.
• Build cloud-native infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and serverless components.
• Manage containerization and orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Develop and integrate high-throughput trading systems (OMS/EMS) and market data feeds.
• Implement automated CI/CD pipelines, tests, and observability.
• Collaborate with international teams including analysts and architects.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and security standards.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and optimize performance
