Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Nanny and Household Manager to oversee daily care for two school-aged children (ages 8 and 10) in Randburg, Gauteng. The role also involves supervising domestic staff, coordinating schedules, and maintaining an orderly, safe home.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years as a nanny with household management experience, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years as a nanny with significant household management experience.
• Proven track record caring for school-aged children.
• Excellent organizational, time-management and multitasking skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in English; other languages are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• CPR and First Aid certification are essential.
• Discretion, reliability and a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality childcare for two school-aged children, ensuring safety and development.
• Manage children's schedules, school drop-offs/pick-ups, appointments and activities.
• Assist with homework and school projects.
• Plan and organize recreational activities, outings and playdates.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children.
• Oversee household staff and coordinate tasks.
• Manage groceries, supplies and inventory for the home.
• Maintain general tidiness and organization throughout the house.
• Handle errands and other duties as required.
• Communicate progress and household matters with parents.
