Job summary

Placements24 is assisting a prominent family in Centurion, Gauteng to recruit a Senior Nanny and Household Manager. The role combines daily child care for two children aged 5 and 8 with overseeing light household tasks.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years nanny experience, 3+ in senior roles, a driver’s license, valid First Aid/CPR, and a discreet, dependable work ethic. Hybrid work as needed; live-out.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years as a nanny with 3+ years in a senior/managerial role.
• Proven experience in household management or as a family assistant.
• Strong knowledge of child development and academic support for primary school children.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Willing to work hybrid schedule when required.
• Legally eligible to work in Centurion, Gauteng, ZA.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care for two children aged 5 and 8, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Plan and implement educational and recreational activities.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
• Assist with homework and school tasks.
• Oversee daily household management and keep areas tidy.
• Coordinate appointments and activities for the children.
• Liaise with domestic staff and service providers.
• Manage children's wardrobes and supply needs.
• Maintain open communication with the parents.
