Placements24 is seeking a Senior Municipal Engineer to lead planning, design, and delivery of water, sanitation, roads, and storm water infrastructure for Soweto. You will oversee projects, budgets, and compliance within the public sector.

The role requires Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng registration with ECSA, a BEng Civil, 7+ years in municipal engineering, and strong leadership and stakeholder engagement to drive service delivery in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required).
• Registration as Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) or Professional Engineering Technologist (Pr.Tech.Eng) with ECSA is essential.
• Minimum of 7 years of municipal engineering or public works project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement municipal infrastructure projects (water, sewer, roads, storm drainage).
• Oversee operation and maintenance of existing infrastructure to meet service delivery standards.
