The role collaborates with Processing and Engineering & Maintenance to deliver integrated strategy and operational excellence across Open Pit and Underground mining.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
• Postgraduate qualification in Mining Engineering or related field preferred.
• Professional registration with SAIMM, ECSA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across mining portfolio, ensuring safe, sustainable, and value-maximising outcomes.
• Lead mine planning, governance, and continuous improvement across Open Pit and Underground operations.
• Review and challenge mine plans, production strategies, and capital projects.
• Drive safety, production and cost performance across a consolidated portfolio.
