Job summary

Secunda, Mpumalanga-based Sasol is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to manage the engineering maintenance processes within their mining area to support production targets in line with QCDSM principles.

You will lead maintenance strategies, oversee overhaul plans, ensure equipment availability, manage costs, develop SOPs, and drive safety and compliance programs while coaching and developing your team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant mining engineering maintenance experience.
• Senior National Certificate / N3 with Mathematics and Physical Science or equivalent.
• Diploma in Electrical or related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and implement maintenance strategies and overhaul plans to meet KPI targets.
• Control maintenance costs and ensure equipment availability within budget.
• Develop and implement SOPs; ensure compliance with engineering governance.
