Job summary

Sasol requires an experienced technician to operate basic mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment at the Secunda Operations in Mpumalanga. You will follow detailed instructions to meet performance targets and support maintenance activities. A 3+ year track record in similar roles is expected.

The role emphasizes safety, housekeeping, and collaboration with teams, with opportunities for development and progression within Sasol’s maintenance framework.

Qualifications

• Matric/N3 with Maths, English and Physical Science.
• Occupational Trade Qualification/Certificate (Mechanical Red Seal).
• Experience: 3+ relevant years.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic mechanical/electro-mechanical equipment and machines following detailed instructions.
• Read and follow plant maintenance documentation and planning work management procedures.
• Contribute to safety and housekeeping and support RCA and risk assessments.
