Job summary

Sasol Limited in Secunda, Mpumalanga, is seeking a Superintendent Section Conveyors / Chief Foreman to supervise engineering maintenance across the assigned area, ensuring targets and KPI delivery within QCDSM principles. The role requires a Senior N3/Mathematics and Physical Science, electrical knowledge, and a Flameproof certificate, with 4+ years of relevant experience.

You will lead maintenance planning, drive safety, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Senior National Certificate / N3 with Mathematics and Physical Science.
Diploma in Electrical (Advantageous).
Flameproof Certificate.
Experience: 4+ relevant years.

Responsibilities

Oversee maintenance strategies and overhaul plans to meet KPIs and perform replacements when needed.
Manage maintenance cost vs. revenue targets within the appointed area budget.
Ensure equipment availability by controlling downtime, shifts, MTBF/MTTR.
Adhere to maintenance programmes and SOPs; uphold engineering governance.
Lead condition monitoring programs and implement corrective actions.
Drive safety, compliance and continuous improvement across the team.
Coordinate planning to support target achievement and efficient production.
Develop and coach staff, manage vacancies and succession planning.
