Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive mining engineering experience with emphasis on operations and planning.
• Proven ability to develop and execute detailed mine plans for open-pit or underground operations.
• Proficiency with industry-standard mine planning and design software.
• Strong knowledge of SA mining regulations, safety protocols and environmental practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Practical experience across multiple commodities is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in mining engineering, with a strong emphasis on mine operations and planning.
• Proven experience in developing and executing detailed mine plans for either open-pit or underground operations.
• Proficiency in industry-standard mine planning and design software.
• Thorough understanding of mining regulations, safety protocols, and environmental best practices in South Africa .
• Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Registered Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) with ECSA is highly desirable.
• Experience in diverse commodity mining (e.g., minerals, metals, or aggregates) is advantageous.
