Qualifications

• 4+ years in a data analyst, operations analyst or reporting analyst role, ideally in mining or data-services.
• Strong data handling, validation and reconciliation skills with high attention to accuracy.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI).
• Ability to identify, investigate and resolve data exceptions and anomalies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into insight.
• Disciplined, deadline-driven approach to recurring reconciliations and reporting.
• Clear communication skills for reporting findings to internal and customer stakeholders.
• Related quantitative degree in data science, statistics, engineering, finance.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily collection and compilation of operational data feeding the contracted analytics services.
• Ensure data completeness, accuracy and consistency across all sources.
• Manage data intake from multiple systems, sites and customer feeds.
• Validate data integrity, applying quality checks and controls before analysis and reporting.
• Complete reconciliations accurately and on time, in line with contractual commitments.
• Identify, investigate and manage exceptions, anomalies and discrepancies to resolution.
• Escalate unresolved or material issues to the Senior Manager promptly.
• Analyse data to identify trends and produce timely analytics outputs for customers.
