Mintek Pty Ltd. in Johannesburg seeks a Senior Analyst - Mining to execute daily data collection, compilation and analysis powering contracted analytics services. The role is the operational backbone, ensuring data accuracy, validation, reconciliation and timely reporting for mining customers.

You will identify trends, manage exceptions and produce insights that support customer decision-making while upholding SLA commitments and data integrity across multiple sources.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a data analyst, operations analyst or reporting analyst role, ideally in mining, industrial, telematics or data-services contexts.
• Strong data-handling, validation and reconciliation skills with high attention to accuracy.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (advanced Excel essential; SQL, Power BI or similar advantageous).
• Ability to identify patterns and anomalies to drive actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily collection and compilation of operational data feeding the contracted analytics services.
• Validate data integrity with quality checks before analysis and reporting.
• Analyse data to identify trends, patterns and outliers relevant to operations and contract performance.
• Ensure analytics service delivery meets SLA, accuracy and timeliness requirements.
