RMG Recruitment (Pty) Ltd seeks a qualified Millwright to install and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing setting in the Eastern Cape.

You will install and service switch gear and machinery, attend to breakdowns, and ensure safe operations. The role requires a Trade Test and 5 years of experience with a strong safety and housekeeping focus.

Formación

• Grade 12/Matric is essential.
• Qualified Millwright with a valid Trade Test (Electrical/Mechanical) is essential.
• 5 years' experience as a qualified Millwright in an Engineering or Manufacturing industry.
• Self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Innovative, reliable, and assertive.
• Strong customer focus and able to work under pressure.
• Decisive can-do attitude seeing nothing as impossible leading to immediate action.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake safe and efficient installation of mechanical and electrical equipment as directed.
• Attend to breakdowns and stoppages promptly.
• Adhere to safety rules, housekeeping and lock-out procedures.
• Perform shift, overtime and stand-by duties as required.
• Carry out inspections and planned maintenance on equipment.
