Headhunters in the Eastern Cape seeks a skilled Millwright (Electromechanician) with a Section 13/26D Trade Test and 5+ years’ experience in maintaining large electrical and mechanical installations. A strong electrical background and proficient troubleshooting are essential, with bonus if you know SCADA/PLC systems and instrumentation.

The role includes adherence to MaintainX CMMS, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting multiple sites in the region.

Formación

Must hold a Section 13 or Section 26D Trade Test Certificate as a Millwright (Electromechanician).
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance of large electrical and mechanical installations.
Strong electrical background with accurate, quick troubleshooting.
At least five years’ experience with SCADA and PLC control systems.
Exposure to field-control instrumentation is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

Adhere to the Computerized Maintenance Management System (MaintainX) and keep Asset Register updated.
Respond to breakdowns promptly and prioritise repair work.
Plan and perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance on electro-mechanical equipment.
Monitor plant condition and implement preventive/predictive maintenance strategies.
Ensure safety and housekeeping standards comply with MHSA/OHSA and ISO requirements.
Provide cost-effective maintenance and support across sites in the region.
