Humankind Group in South Africa is seeking a Senior (L3) Microsoft Enterprise Engineer to own complex escalations, design and lead client projects, and mentor the next generation of engineers. Location: Cape Town or Gqeberha (PE), in office.

Permanent role. You will lead troubleshooting across on-premises, hybrid and cloud environments, design solution architectures, take ownership of escalations through to resolution, and contribute to documentation and best practices.

Formación

• 8–10 years’ experience in IT infrastructure support and leading project deployments.
• 5+ years’ hands-on experience in Microsoft 365, on-premise and cloud environments.
• Strong Active Directory, Exchange, SCCM and PKI experience.
• Modern Workplace expertise: Intune, Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Defender and Purview.
• Advanced PowerShell and Microsoft Graph automation.
• Good understanding of backup and recovery, networking and network security.
• Working knowledge of ITSM/ITIL.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Lead complex troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across on-premises, hybrid and cloud environments.
• Design solution architecture and lead implementations and migrations.
• Take ownership of customer escalations through to resolution.
• Mentor and coach L1 and L2 engineers, and run peer reviews of designs and changes.
• Build documentation, standards and best practice.
• Provide pre-sales technical input and scoping.
• Join client strategy sessions and roadmap discussions.
• Drive technical governance and Microsoft best practice.
