Job summary

soughtout in Centurion is seeking an accomplished electronic metrology professional to lead our SANAS-accredited Calibration Laboratory. This is a senior technical leadership role combining hands-on metrology expertise with responsibility for accreditation, governance, people development and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will bring more than 10 years of calibration experience, deep ISO/IEC 17025 knowledge, and a proven track record in leading accredited laboratories, mentoring

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or equivalent with extensive calibration/metrology experience.
• 10+ years in electronic calibration/metrology roles.
• Registered or qualified as a Technical Signatory where applicable.
• Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and laboratory quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SANAS-accredited Laboratory Head duties to maintain accreditation.
• Lead technical team to maximise efficiency, productivity, and service quality.
• Ensure calibration activities are accurate, efficient and customer-focused.
• Provide advanced technical support and problem-solving assistance.
• Mentor and develop junior metrologists and lab staff.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and quality management system.
